And mine had high stats, top 10%, 1500+, unhooked. For those of you whose kids did/do have a shot at the top privates (which seems to be 99% of the parents on this forum), congrats. I’m grateful for second tier schools like Emory/BC/Wash U where people like my kid do have a shot. Hate to break it to you but most kids at the second tier aren’t on the outside looking in and dwelling on being at a “Ivy reject” school. They’re too busy and happy just being college students.
