Belted it out, surprising everyone. By 8ty grade tried challenging roles. It wasn’t given because the teacher liked her.

So: you can like someone and think highly of them, but did they earn it? I know DD didn’t earn SS or Art awards seeing what those kids accomplished. SS fairs, top grades, showing interest in an AP track for 9th social studies and beyond.
