It's trite to say that age is just a number, but there's something to it with Schumer. He is vigorous and EASILY wins elections. He might not be your cup of tea, but trust me, other people see it different. [/quote]

He may remain fit enough to capably complete his current Senate term. If he seeks another six year term in 2028, he'll likely have no trouble winning his election considering the money and power he and his wealthy financial backers have relative to any likely competition. At that point he turns into another McConnell, Biden and others that clung to power for way too long thanks to money in politics and stupid voters.[/quote]

Schumer has charisma and, like many of our aging long time Senators, he has very good relationships with the very influential mega political donors. The regular American people need these aging bought and paid for politicians to exit the arena in order for the regular people to have any chance of taking back control of our Federal Government from the hands of the wealthy elite.
