Furthermore, we keep talking about the disparities, but not the root causes of the disparities. If he's hoping to address these disparities "immediately," Taylor needs to be clear-eyed and explicit about what he's addressing. The disparate academic outcomes are the symptoms, what, specifically, does he believe to be the problems and their underlying root causes that HE is going to address?[/quote]
