The vast majority of abortions are elective. Birth control has become more reliable. The same people who ignore ^^^ are trying to tell you unborn babies are not human and unborn babies are not alive.
Please do not have an abortion if that is your choice. Everyone will respect your decision. Just stay out of this matter for other women. It does not concern you.
But it concerns you?
[…] These extreme anti-abortion laws have ramifications above and beyond punishing women for sex.
Yes, and now they’ve moved into punishing women for their mere existence. Women aren’t people in the GOP. You can see this in the posts of the forced birthers.
Nobody wants any woman to give birth if she doesn’t want to do so. Many people also do not want an innocent baby to be killed. Both mom and baby matter.
The mother matters more because she is here in this world and is the one who would need to do the unpaid, potentially dangerous labor and donate her body to get the fetus to a state of personhood. So the mother is the one who gets to say if she is willing to do that, not the government.
Where are women paid to become pregnant? Where are pregnant women included in labor rights legislation and regulations? Women don’t donate their time and bodies to pregnancy. It’s a natural and biologically occurring process. Are you ok?
