This x 100. People calling Trump dumb for this don’t know anything about the media or politics.

For Trump, all publicity is good publicity. Kamala’s honeymoon has been interrupted by this and he’s gotten the media to disseminate the message he wanted, that Harris is half Indian, free of charge. As an added bonus, he looks like a martyr to his supporters for taking incoming attacks from female reporters for 40 minutes.

In 2016 (the only time Trump actually won anything), getting the media to constantly cover him and saying nasty things about Hillary worked beautifully.  At that time Hillary was old news and he was new.  He characterized her with things that are actually bad: her buttery emails scandal, calling her crooked and corrupt.

But now we’ve watched this show for 10 seasons.  He recycles so many attacks- calling Kamala mean, questioning her ethic origins. And trying to imply someone is lying about their ethnicity is very Elizabeth Warren/Pocahontas.  It’s been done.  We are all bored.  The media may cover him until the end of time but it’s boring.[/quote]
