There are no more debates before the convention. Everything between here and then will be highly scripted. Witness Biden tottering out to make a statement after the SC decision yesterday and not taking any questions. The WH speech writers will feed him what he needs to say on the teleprompters at the occasional rally. There will be an illusion that Biden is a functional president and all is well. And they will count on Trump saying one asinine thing or another to keep distracting attention from how weak Biden is.

Groupthink will continue to settle in. Everything is fine. No Whitmer or Newsom will rock the boat. No billionaire will want to strain relationships, which are far more important for the donor class than what Party is in the White House. They're going to do fine regardless.

There will be no change. And Democrats will continue to sleepwalk into disaster. [/quote]
