He is a formerly lauded law scholar who decided to commit crimes and violate active ethics.  He knew at the time he crafted several of the schemes that he proposed to former President Trump and later helped to execute, that they were not legal or ethical, but he still chose to help execute them.

For these reasons, he was disbarred.   He needs to accept personal responsibility.  He was solely responsible for his decisions and his own fall from grace.[/quote]

This is true.  But you have to wonder why so many of these people threw away their reputations and livelihoods, and for the ones in jail, freedom in service of Trump.  It’s such an odd phenomenon.  What did they imagine they would get?[/quote]
I mean no offense to you or anyone else where you are emotionally with this, but I think it has to be admitted at this point that there a fairly significant number of Republicans who no longer believe in democracy and haven’t for a long time. That’s not something that people are willing to understand, but once a person accepts that, the insane actions of a lot of people become clearer. [/quote]
