He is a formerly lauded law scholar who decided to commit crimes and violate active ethics.  He knew at the time he crafted several of the schemes that he proposed to former President Trump and later helped to execute, that they were not legal or ethical, but he still chose to help execute them.

For these reasons, he was disbarred.   He needs to accept personal responsibility.  He was solely responsible for his decisions and his own fall from grace.[/quote]

This is true.  But you have to wonder why so many of these people threw away their reputations and livelihoods, and for the ones in jail, freedom in service of Trump.  It’s such an odd phenomenon.  What did they imagine they would get?[/quote]

I agree. It’s 100% clear that Trump is a liar, grifter and only cares about himself. Did these people who support his coup plan think they could control him to do what they wanted (implement the 2025 Plan, etc?). Trump doesn’t care enough about the ideology of that - he just wants to be a dictator and continue to fleece us all for more money. How do smart people decide that following him is a good idea?[/quote]
