My mom (two kids) worked while raising us, and often says she would never have wanted my job, even if she didn’t have to work for money the way she did. Like you, she says she wasn’t “cut out” for spending her days with little kids. She is a fantastic mom and we often joke about how different our approaches to motherhood are.
