[/quote] I actually took the time to google it because I have a child interested in applying to Oxford. There is only one mention (“not many”) of a an excited parent of an MPhil student at at Oxford where the parent uses the wrong spelling for Michealmas. Here only in DCUM. Just one entry and you were called out subsequently by multiple parents in that thread for being an “a**” and other insulting terms. Happy to provide the link [/quote] Fascinating.
