I personally love them, as well as the numerous dupes available.  I have a dupe that I love for the Oren, and it goes with summer dresses for brunch, out to dinner, and nicely with some summer pants outfits for the office, and pool days.  (I wear sneakers -- yes, even in the summer -- for longer walks, running around after my kids...)  But OP said she has finicky feet and needs arch support and a back strap, so I think it's a no for her.

I think this thread went off the rails because the original post lacked clarity and 50% of PPs REASONABLY thought OP was looking for an everyday comfy walking sandal and the other 50% of PP EQUALLY REASONABLY thought OP was looking for a cute strappy sandal or slide to wear in multiple settings.  So, naturally, basically about 50% of PPs thought every recommendation was bonkers.  Then OP comes on to seemingly clarify things.  It turns out she already has an everyday comfortable walking sandal and she wants this second sandal to go with summer dress and pants, including in her fairly casual office.  Ok, cool.  But then she says her finicky foot can't do any of the cute slides that have been posted, and she needs a back strap and arch support and wants it to sort of "disappear" into her foot.  This description/set of criteria sounds pretty damn ortho despite its intended purpose, so I think everyone is thereby left more confused than before.
