DP, but that’s exactly what we’re wondering. Has she made poor decisions, or does she not care about marriage or kids? There are plenty of attractive and successful thirty something women who never got married for various reasons. Some portion are by choice, and some portion of those are unmarried because they dated the wrong guys, stayed in dead end relationships for too long, or have issues that prevent them from attaining some personal goals they may have. Just because Taylor swift massively successful, it doesn’t mean her personal life may not be a mess. That’s what these worshippers of hers have wrong. She is a super successful person, but still a person who can have flaws. [/quote]

No, but what’s your point? Britney has documented mental health struggles, so that feels like a cheap shot. Countless stable people in the entertainment industry have gotten married/partnered up and had children at reasonable ages. Here are some of the more intelligent or successful ones: Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, gwyneth Paltrow, Kate winslet, Adele, Kristen bell, Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Meryl Streep, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, Katherine Heigl, Leslie Mann, beyonce. Just some dozens off the top of my head.

Almost none of them stay married regardless of how old they were when they married or had babies- so if you’re implying that taylor is waiting for the perfect person to have kids with, the odds are going to be stacked against her no matter who she ultimately settles down with.

I like don’t even know what you’re defending at this point. Very few people here are calling her a failure for not being married or having kids. But she doesn’t talk about her personal life, so we don’t know if she wants those things. You seem to be offended by the suggestion that someone as rich or famous as Taylor swift isn’t immune to wanting typical things in a more typical window. Those particular posts weren’t me. There is a spectrum of crazy here, that person is on one side and you are on the other. In the middle you have people wishing her the best and hoping that, if she does want a a long term relationship and kids, she gets it because realistically, most people don’t plan to start those things in their late thirties or forties.[/quote]

omfg. STOP. She is in her early 30s, rich as midas, gorgeous, and oh yeah, a superstar. where in the world do you get the picture she’s crying at her spinsterhood? she will always have a boyfriend (or husband) and can have a baby whenever/however she wants. [/quote]

She’s 33 and will turn 34 this year during her tour. That’s no spring chicken when it comes to fertility. At the very least she’s unlikely to ever have more than a pair of children when or if she ever does get pregnant. And it’s sad to think about, but her baby boomer parents ain’t getting any younger. They could croak any day without seeing a grandchild.[/quote]

doesn’t matter - she has a uterus, she must use it to procreate 🙄 at least half of the parents I meet in this area clearly started around 40, so assuming she even wants kids AND wants to carry them herself, she has plenty of time. Honestly, she’s a bad*ss at the top of her game, so people want to tear her down and “feel bad for her”. I feel bad for anyone who thinks their kids “owe” them grandkids at any point.
