Lol. No. (re: Camilla). There's no nostalgic childhood connection there. She was one of [i]many [/i]women he was flirting with and sleeping with. Then Camilla became a convenient mistress option because a) she was from his social circle, b) she was a married woman, so it was easy to sleep with her knowing that she wouldn't demand commitment from him, c) she lived near the house he shared with Princess Diana, and d) she coddled his ego.

There's no deep connection between Charles and Camilla. Charles is a notoriously jealous and selfish guy. He was VERY insecure about Princess Diana, who outshone him in every situation. He's even reportedly threatened when William and Kate get better press than he does. He chose Camilla because she'd never outshine him, and she knows how to butter him up and mother him. They have a truly pathetic connection. Insecure man-boy Charles, and insecure manipulator Camilla.

I don't pretend to know what Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez see in each other. Apart from the ageist, classist, and weirdly sexist comments in this thread, there may be some fair criticism too. So who knows?
