Similar thing also happened to me. For me it was more a classism thing than a "she's not hot enough/rich enough" thing; DH comes from a blue blood family and I come from the "wrong side of the tracks". I don't dress like a hooker and I'm an educated and independent woman, but hey even if I [i]did [/i]dress like a hooker, so what? I actually don't even know who Lauren Sanchez is, but the amount of [b]jealousy[/b] that this thread demonstrates towards her makes me think she's doing something right![/quote]

The fact that you're attributing it to jealousy seems pretty anti-woman to me. Who TF wants to boink Jeffy B, that smug, self-indulgent exploiter of the people who make his wealth possible? I assume the original question was whether this supposed genius was any different than any other guy who falls for a woman whose chief talent seems to be getting prominent rich guys to go for her, and the answer is no.
