You clearly don’t know the Teachers at my sons ES because they are doing a lot after SOLs. Every year, DS continues learning after the SOL. I haveno clue what school you are at but you really should be complaining to the Principal or his boss if they are not teaching anything at your kids school.

The last week of school is pretty much a waste of time, it was when I was a kid as well, I like the end of the year parties and smaller projects and fun activities that help the kids end the year. I will guess the last week in MS is different and I remember missing most of the last week of school in HS or just having time to hang out and talk with friends during the periods where I didn’t have finals.
