A Democrat governor. Lots of Democrats liked Hogan, but after the GOP-backed forced births and mass shootings, we need to elect as many Democrats as possible. Blue wave.
Absolutely. We need to save our state.
Save our state from what exactly? The biggest issue in Maryland is ineffectual and sometimes corrupt government, going back to Agnew (actually even further, which is why the Assembly did not have control over the budget). We need to be saved from bad governance. What we need are better leaders, not more of one party or another.
We need a good leader who is a Democrat. The crazy wing of the GOP made it so. I have nothing against moderate Republicans personally. But in this post-Roe world with increased mass shootings and a trigger-happy Supreme Court (pun intended); in which the GOP has actually warned it would investigate Hunter Biden and impeach his father if they win back the House and Senate... ... A Republican governor is not going to fight the tide of evil. However principled in their own governance, they just won't be able to stand up to their party. They're beholden to some of the same donors. They will be forced to either toe the party line or shut up. So we need the best of what the Democrats can offer, whoever that is.
