Apparently Schulz only leads Cox by 3 points, 25 to 22....
I would assume all the people that switched from D to R will vote for Schulz. And republicans have to understand that Cox getting the nom is a surefire to guarantee a Dem governor
I don’t think there are a lot of Ds in Maryland switching to R to vote for Schultz when there’s a huge D primary with three candidates tied for the lead. Maybe lots of Is will switch but not Ds.
Probably, but my comment was more in regard to the nationwide trend: https://nypost.com/2022/06/27/more-than-a-million-voters-switched-to-gop-in-last-year-report/ Suburbs are moving to the right, and its not an embrace of Trump, but a rejection of progressives, which would be supportive of Schulz, not Cox
I agree 100%. Voting R for Governor in a solid blue state like Maryland is a completely different tactic than voting R in purple states like Virginia. We can safely reject progressives without embracing extremist Republicans. We all need to move closer to the middle.
Nope. Not going to happen. Not after today's stunt. Md will be wholly Democratic. Thank goodness.
