No.  She's not holding all Americans accountable, but the police system.  She's rightly disturbed that this police force seems to establish preferential treatment based on race.  Had the victim been white, a higher priority may have been placed on investigating the prime suspect.  Had the prime suspect been black, the police may have been more serious about following appropriate procedure.  The police had a suspect in a potential homicide and did not administer any drug testing, did not do an immediate background check, took the suspect's word for a lot, and did not bring the suspect in for questioning to establish certain answers before he had time to dissemble and/or possible fabricate answers.  Even if this suspect is guilty, he may walk free due to police incompetency and misconduct.  That would be as bad a crime as what Zimmerman did...it would allow a guilty criminal to walk to streets and potentially murder again.[/quote]
