That is pure comedy gold!  Elementary kids already "fast tracked".  I promise you that if they miss some school due to illness or any other reason now, if they are going to be a doctor or scientist, they will not be impacted.[/quote]

Tell me you're not in FCPS without telling me you're not in FCPS. Carson and Rocky Run are middle schools. Plenty of 7th and 8th graders are taking HS level courses at those schools. Of course the kids will stay home if they get sick, but why not wear a mask if it's going cut the odds of you getting sick? They care about school and don't want to get sick and miss class if they can help it. My son and his friends are wearing 94/95 masks, not the cloth ones that are less effective.

+1 My kids are not going to risk missing school to mess up their GPAs and they are both in MS taking 2 HS classes each. They don't mind the mask. Not worth the risk. If covid did not exist and we just had colds, they'd just go to school sick. [/quote]
