I have been one of the most Covid conservative people that I know. But, the most recent comment above really hits home. I’ve actually been feeling really jealous of some of my friends that live in other parts of the country where removing the mask is not something that’s new anymore. Oh I don’t think what they’re doing is wrong and sort of wish we were like that here. However, because it’s not the norm, I wear mine for two reasons. The first is that I want to respect people who don’t feel comfortable without masks. The second is because I feel like I will be judged harshly if I don’t wear one. If I live somewhere else in the country I never would have to grapple with that.[/quote]
