I'm assuming ACPS will join them. This just sucks, my kid does have a disability that masks are definitely not helping and actively hurting, but ACLU isn't interested in those kids I guess. Everything I've seen about the cases they are representing are for kids for whom it will literally never be safe to unmask, ongoing lung issues, significantly immunocompromised. So is that the end game?[/quote]

I can only speak for myself, but as a parent of an under 5 with lung issues, I'm resigned to masks coming off once my under 5 has a COVID vaccine.  I'll probably still be selective about indoor activities we participate in, but once everyone has the option to have a vaccine I think that would be a reasonable time to end mandates.  Also, again just speaking for myself, I agree kids with disabilities that are hurt by masks shouldn't wear masks in school now.  It is really sad that a robust exemption couldn't have been made.  Robust in the sense that it wouldn't be exploited by selfish parents.[/quote]
