Yu Ying has multiple grades at home quarantining right now. Positive cases left and right.
Yeah, and you know why so many schools have grades and full classes quarantining? Because there ARE SO MANY UNVACCINATED TEACHERS. If an unvaccinated teacher gets Covid or is simply a close contact, it’s automatic quarantine for the entire class. Contrast that with vaccinated teachers, who even if they are a close contact, need only quarantine if they have symptoms.
If the teacher is vaxxed and is a symptomatic positive, the whole class still has to quarantine as close contacts, apparently. A whole class is out for a (vaxxed) teacher positive at LT right now.
Yes, we are saying the same thing. But my point is that you have 186 personnel quarantining and 76 total positives. At least 26 of those 76 positives are already done with the 10 day quarantine period (there are 26 who tested positive on September 3 or before which starts the clock for asymptomatic people but symptomatic clocks start at the first day of symptoms so there are presumably more than 26 done with the quarantine). So that’s 50 at most of the 186 that can be attributed to the positive Covid test. The rest are vaccinated and symptomatic without a test or unvaccinated and a close contact. Guess which one of those two is driving numbers?
