So...make YOUR kids wear masks, or stay home. The rest of us can assess the “risk” for ourselves.
DP The NVSL isn’t requiring masks, so aren’t we beating a dead horse here?
The NVSL is leaving it up to each individual pool. Talking to friends across a number of pools and divisions be ready to run into a slew of different situations week by week. PP, the risk isn't yours to assess, it's the decision of each pool's board.
This is what drives me crazy. CDC, VDH, NVSL have all agreed on no mask mandate. Then some tiny pool board or swim rep who is not a healthcare provider or public policy person is going to go above them and make a new rule. We all know under 12 is not vaccinated, so they can wear masks and get a tiny more protection they already get by being outside and surrounded by vaccinated people.
