The AART told us to apply and appeal every year, since the process is kind of random and eventually my child would get in. I would guess that it depends on whether the AART thinks your kid belongs in AAP or not. If they do think so, they'll support your child every year. If not, applying repeatedly would probably annoy them and lead to low GBRS over and over. (Kid had 130 CogAT composite, meh GBRS in 2nd, 15 GBRS in 3rd, maxed out DRA both years, Advanced math and LIII pull outs in 3rd). [/quote]
