The steps are just a skosh younger than you, so you play up the fun, and honestly Ashley is a leeeetle bit on the chunky side so you’re (quietly) teaching her the dieting and working out ropes. You won’t teach her about the darkest stuff, but you don’t want her to hit her senior year [i]already[/i] pudgy.

Part of being awesomely wealthy and fun and damn proud of it is gifting well. You show up to dinners with a great bottle and sometimes a really fun monogrammed needlepoint bottle bag (not that you did it!), and if it’s too bright for Boo’s old friends’ tastes, well, you’re younger and way more fun than them. Fun is like your middle name, as is excess. Big hair, lots of it, lots of tan (from the pool, whenever possible), bright bright bright colors!!!! It’s not forced, you guys, it’s just fun to wear sparkles in the day time. You should try it.
