I take my dog into CVS. It is allowed per their rules. I only take her in after she has done her business so there is no chance of accidents. I don’t have a car so can’t leave her in there. And certainly wouldn’t want to tie her up outside unsupervised. By the way, there are many posts kvetching about people who tie their dogs up outside. Some of you people just hate dog owners no matter what we do.
Actually, CVS policy says pets are not allowed. This is a posted policy. CVS does not allow dogs or pets — except for service animals, a corporate customer service representative said. We were told that CVS store associates are instructed to approach customers entering with a dog or pet to find out if the animal is a service animal. CVS relies on its customers to answer honestly.
Got a link for that? The only place online I’ve found that says that is some random website unaffiliated with CVS. My local CVS does not have any signs one way or another about pets. I asked an employee there who said dogs are allowed. I just spent a while googling this and could find nothing official from CVS on this topic so I’m going with what the employee said.
