[/quote] That's why they call it "American exceptionalism" -- that the whole "I've got mine screw you" attitude causes people to do better for themselves and not care about others. I've stated this before.. when it comes down to money, it's about "I I I". Greed, pure and simple. That's why universal healthcare can't take off in this country. It's a whole paradigm shift, and many Americans want to hold onto the "American exceptionalism" (ie, I I I) instead.[/quote]
