I agree with this. Or make the Cathedral Schools one entity and put them in the Big 3 with Sidwell and GDS. I think Maret is on the bubble, maybe because they have such a strong sibling/alum/faculty preference within a smaller school that they have more kids that aren't at the very top of the achievement pyramid of admittees.[/quote]

NCS anD STA shouldn’t be ranked separately as they are in most national rankings. NCS is usually ranked slightly higher than STA.

Maret is just not that strong.  It’s gotten hooked on wealthy donor families and siblings maybe because it needs the money more than other private schools in the are due to its small size.  I think of it as the school for nice, middle of the road kids with wealthy parents.  Of course there are a few very bright ones mixed in.  [/quote]
