Trayon White essentially said, "no....I REFUSE to condemn the antisemite's remark that Jews are termites, even though I have been asked to" - and there isn't even a censure from the DC Council. Complete and total pass for condoning horrific bigotry, Had a white Council member been asked to condemn an equally offensive remark made at a rally in his name - say Richard Spencer grabbed the mike and said blacks were cockroaches - do you think he would have gotten away with saying "NO. I am not going to condemn those sentiments?"

er I am the PP who mentioned the rural whites, but not the immediate PP.  I AM a liberal, and not only liberal Jews, but quite a few other liberals are concerned about antisemitism. I am concerned about political cowardice by Mayor Bowser,  but please do not try to turn this into a liberal vs conservative thing.  [/quote]
