Personally, I do think almost everything out now is not flattering to the vast majority of real people.  Skin tight leggings or skinny, low rise styles aren't flattering on a lot of women.  They also aren't appropriate for many offices.  Many of us would like, and are willing to spend money on, clothes that make us look and feel professional and put together, even if that means that the clothes are boring.  I, for one, miss the days of lightweight, good quality sweaters (silk, cotton, merino, whatever) that don't pill the second time you put them on, that are thick enough to wear alone but thin enough to wear under a suit jacket.

And forget about it if you're short or not rail thin -- your options are even even more limited.  I love that the "short" BR pants have a 31" inseam -- I would need to have four or five inches hacked off -- even my husband would have to have them hemmed[/quote]
