[/quote] You would think but this is the government again, lol[/quote] Could be govt inefficiency or could be the ridiculous belief that many gov't agencies have (USAO being one of them) that they will keep interviewing frantically during a freeze so that when a freeze lifts, they are ready to make offers. That works in theory except we've had freezes go on for 3 yrs -- so if you interviewed someone 3 yrs ago and decide they were getting an offer -- 3 yrs later when you can make an offer, they have moved on with their lives and may not even want that job any longer so then you start over again.[/quote]
