Thes school is surrounded by parkland owned by the county, or possibly the county owns the whole site and leased it to FCPS. They need to renew the lease before they move forward with any plans to renovate or possibly expand. The county wanted something in exchange for agree ing to up the lease, and it was something to do with land at Cub Run rec center, but I don't know what the story is with that,[/quote]
