It’s not surprising me at all. I’m used to being told that I need to kiss Romney’s ass for his impeachment vote, that Sasse was “a good guy” and not a criminal and an apologist, that Hawley and Mike Lee are just totally brilliant but have a couple of bad ideas, and that Chris Coons and other centrists were just trying to be persuaded.

As I see it, the majority of our elected leaders are weak and frightened. The squad, Mamdani, and Sanders have shown that you can win and be popular and call a fascist or an oligarch or a criminal what they are. [/quote]
