Gaithersburg HS area is quite large. On the outskirts it gets above 10 miles. But those areas aren't within a mile of another high school.

Brighton Village to Northwest High School is another funny example. It's 1.7 miles to Gaithersburg HS, but a 6.5 mile drive to Northwest HS. So, not hitting the PP's claim.[/quote]

I still don't see how you get to 10 miles. Aspen Hill to Montgomery Blair HS is as far as you can get while staying within a mile of a school. That's 7.5 miles, not 10.[/quote]
