I’m super happy for Brandon. He was obviously miserable being married to a MeMonster. Texas Barbie is let’s be honest gorgeous, seems chill and sweet and fun, and doesn’t want fame. They are a good match.
I have seen this in so many marriages -- where one partner is narcissistic/preoccupied with childrearing, pals, sports etc. -- and totally neglects or ignores the partners. No surer way to starve a marriage.
Throwing child rearing into this mix seems unfair and misogynistic. Women who are “preoccupied” with child rearing are typically raising kids with partners who aren’t involved enough. I’d argue that the uninvolved husband who is not sharing child rearing duties is the one starving the marriage, not the exhausted mom who doesn’t have enough support in the home.
