Bullis doesn't have the same minimum standards for admittance of any of the good private schools.  Bullis' are much lower  They truly take kids who cannot get in to any other school as well as kids who are kicked out/counseled out of the other DC area privates.  And it doesn't just minimize expectations for athletes.  Its just not an academically competitive school.

No, they are not in the same "league" academically as Sidwell, Landon or GDS (or any other well regarded DC area private school).  Not even close.   Academically, and as far as admittance rates, Bullis is more akin to Flint Hill or St Andrews.  I have no idea how you could have develop this total misperception of Bullis.[/quote]
