Please share your examples of this elaborate "promotion'' that she conjured up.  People were ALREADY aware of it.  Just because you live in a hut doesn't mean the news of her sex tape, even in the rumor phase, was not all over the place in Hollywood and with people across the world that keep up with the Hollywood stuff.

It was big news, she didn't have to do any 'promoting' to bring it to the headlines.  She was a really pretty girl from a family that was quite well known in important circles of L.A./Hollywood and was friends with other big wig family kids like Paris Hilton living in a rich part of L.A.  It was fodder for the headlines.
