It was only pointing out that the example was basing the hourly rate on a 40 hour week. My DW and I both teach in elementary schools within FCPS. Honestly, I'd say we are pretty typical of the teachers in our buildings. A typical day for me amounts to about 9 hours in the building and another hour at home in the evening. On the weekend I probably spend another hour or two on Sunday night. I know very few who spend 10-12 hours a day in the building.[/quote]
