You're confusing fame with notoriety. I know who he is, but Black Flag and the Rollins Band had, at best, a miniscule following and were ensconced in the counter culture. He did host some stuff for MTV though.[/quote]

I must have been knee-deep in the counter culture because everyone in my HS in CA knew who Black Flag and Henry Rollins were as did my cousins in the Midwest. [/quote]
