The pattern is already set in stone for the next 20 years.  Republicans will control national elections and most state governorships and legislators.   Democrats will run major metropolitan areas.  The country will fracture further.   If not already one of the haves, life will be hard.  Going to have to hit rock bottom before things change and a long way from rock bottom.  [/quote]

That’s fine. When Democrats win and try to fix the messes created by republicans, they just get blamed for not fixing the problems quickly enough. Let republicans remain in power, and hopefully there will then be no doubt as to which party is the problem. [/quote]

It will never cease to amaze me how Democrats underestimate Republicans - or really, anyone who doesn't 100% agree with them. They *still* think they're the smartest people in any room, which always makes me laugh.[/quote]
