You could drop the child of two Harvard physicists in the middle of Appalachia and they would be smarter than most of their peers regardless of who their adopted parents are. It’s bizarre how people will readily accept that eye color and height are genetic but intelligence has no genetic component at all. [/quote] +1 I read studies about this too. DH and I are both gifted with PhDs - all 4 of our kids are as well. I read something similar about Elon Musks kids - unfortunately sociopathic predisposition is also inherited.[/quote]
