Hard to believe, but in the 2000s, Jim Edmonds was actually quite the eligible bachelor in St. Louis due to being part of a really great Cardinals team. I could see how Meghan ignored the red flags when they met. I lived in STL and followed Meghan early on social media. Looking back, I can see now that some of her posts - even going back 15 years - were really manic. It wouldn't surprise me if she had mental illness. Add in 3 kids in 2 years, a cheating spouse and other stressors... and I imagine she just broke. To me, her oversharing on social media seems like a cry for help. I don't know that Edmonds is the monster people are making him out to be. I guess it's good he and his wife are stepping up with the kids. But to move his kids to TN at a time when they probably really need their mother and some assurance she's going to be okay... I dunno. Seems like it would've been better for them to relocate back to STL and help Meghan get the help she needs. Her family was a nice, normal St. Louis family back in the day. I wonder if they are trying to stay involved in the kids' lives. I imagine it's really tough when your daughter's ex has unlimited funds and is revered in STL. Poor kids. I hope Jim is being a good father and that their mom gets well.
Please explain to me how he's being a "good father" by suddenly removing the children from their entire world in STL. He has unlimited funds, he can afford to set up a home in STL quickly.
Please explain how she was being a good mother by moving her three young children into the home of a man she had been dating for six weeks, and wanting to move to California to be with this man (Jim stopped the move) and marrying and divorcing this man within 2 months. Please explain how these actions are those of a good mother?
You’re never going to get an answer to this. The Meg defenders keep skipping over every true point about her behavior unless they have a way to scream it’s Jim’s fault. They’re unwilling to see right now Meghan is 51% terrible and Jim is 49%.
Just as you are skipping over every "true point" about Jim's behavior in other posts. But I'll bite. The first bit about her moving the kids into his home while they were dating is false. Never happened. He lived in CA and she lived in MO. She has given interviews about the marriage and all of her thoughts *and regrets and lessons learned* about it and she talks about her kids and how she planned to move forward - please google. Now please tell me how Jim's "stellar" marriage track record and other actions, to include cheating with his kids' nanny while he was married to Meghan, makes him a good father: - He divorced his first wife in 2008 after cheating on her and then married that same year to his second wife (I'm guessing she was the mistress) - Then he divorced his second wife in 2014 and married his third wife (Meghan) that same year. Cheating here too? Probably. Real great husband and father. Meghan, who would likely say this now too, made a huge mistake, but was very likely snagged hook/line/sinker by that narcissist. - And then he got engaged to a fourth woman (a woman with whom he had a threesome while he was married to his third wife... so you would be an idiot to not think cheating with her during the marriage was involved here too) only two months after his divorce from his third wife was finalized (so, continuing his track record). The slight difference this time was that he married the next wife a whole year after divorce from the previous one, so in his world that's an eternity apparently. - Then he sold his property in STL and moved to an entirely different state (TN) than where his kids are growing up - And finally, ended with permanently removing his kids from their hometown to TN, relocating them away from everything they've ever known, to include their own mother. I'd like to hear how that is the mark of a good father.
Smh. You just proved the point about always screaming it’s Jim’s fault. It’s like a compulsion for you.
I asked how any of that shows he's a good father. Please respond without your Gen Z lingo ("POV", "smh", etc and emojis, and multiple exclamation points). You must be at a maximum late 20s in age, and it shows.
Grandma you’re responding to multiple people. If you don’t understand how to use the internet then get off the thread.
