The GM Head Coach also worked at RU for many years as a girls coach & club ECNL director before departing for FSU. On top of those RU duties, the coach also worked for US soccer as a scout for both the YNT and the NT. There were ID clinics in Richmond a few times. I don't think it's a state secret either that a VDA assistant also is a US scout. I know that folks think that there is a conspiracy around every corner...and yeah, getting an invite the first time does involve some politics, but once the player is there, it's up to them.
