Send them back to LMVSC please
LMVSC would never take them back.
Send them back to LMVSC or anywhere else and what do you think would happen to SYC? Look at what happened to LMVSC and St. James when key personnel left. Slowly dying clubs.
SYC would be fine. They have MLS and GA. You can leave a club and take players but you can’t take the platforms with you. Coaches and players would continue to go to SYC for the opportunities.
At one point LMVSC had CCL and SYC didn’t. SYC would apply every year and EM would do everything he could to block them. Then he left and suddenly it was best for for the area to get SYC into the CCL. Then things took off and the rest is history. It would shake things up for sure.
Yea, but the landscape has changed so much. For EM and crew, they couldn't just hop to another club and get access to the top leagues overnight like they did with CCL. In a lot of ways, they're tied to SYC. Going anywhere else would mean huge reductions in talent they coach and their own salaries. And for SYC, if they left, it would probably result in exactly what happened with St James. The latest episode is just the cancer moving from just affecting soccer to affecting the whole club. The bottom falls out on the club at some point, either under the weight of ridiculous salaries/fees or governance stepping in a cutting the cord at a very steep price.
Of course they could. Did you see VRSC? They got access to GA immediately when they had no business in doing so based on their history. Coaching and players coming over got them access immediately. You know what club would likely welcome them with open arms and would have the money to do so? In my opinion, st. James.
The st James? Haha
Rewind to 2022: VRSC comes up in sideline conversation - reaction: "Haha", StJames comes up in conversation, "OMG did you see the latest player that got recruited on IG to a D1. They must be doing something right" This stuff is just stupid at some point.
