Why on earth would FCPS even include preschool students in any rezoning decisions?

Their data was presdnted specifically to bury the issue that everyone is in arms about, rezoning high schools.

The preschool data needs to be dropped entirely.

You’re right, of course, but the crappy, aggregated and/or useless data only gets presented to create the illusion of meaningful community engagement.  It doesn’t actually help anyone understand what’s going on or help people come up with better proposals.  It’s just background noise, and then they’ll just go ahead and do what they always wanted to do. [/quote]
