DP: One of the many issues here is that people are mad at Trump and taking it out on these people. These people haven't done anything wrong, other than perhaps be white, and they are just getting hated on pretty fiercely. Its especially ironic because of the "Hate has no home here" signs and sloganing. [/quote]

If you are asserting that their crime was continuing (until last week, presumably) to be white, disproportionately own property and make money in a land from which their race/ethnicity did not originate while the original inhabitants are poorer and suffer(ed) poverty and oppression lo these many decade/centuries, you are laying a rhetorical argument against all white Americans.

I guess you would be okay if the U.S. government passed a law tomorrow giving themselves broad power to seize property without any form of compensation--as long as you think the targets of dispossession would be mostly white?[/quote]
