If there were any doubt that Usha is complicit in all the damage Trump is trying to inflict worldwide. No one invited her to Greenland and to take her kid there to parade and grift around as US taxpayers pay millions to fund her flight and secret service agents. https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/03/23/us/trump-news#usha-vance-trump-us-greenland
Usha Vance, the second lady, is scheduled to join the White House national security adviser, the energy secretary and other U.S. officials to visit Greenland this week, amid President Trump’s continued push to take over the island, officials said on Sunday. In a statement, the Trump administration said Ms. Vance will visit Greenland with one of her children on Thursday, to visit historical sites and attend a national dog sled race. “Ms. Vance and the delegation are excited to witness this monumental race and celebrate Greenlandic culture and unity,” the statement said. Separately, Michael Waltz, the national security adviser, is expected to tour a U.S. military base, two U.S. officials said. Chris Wright, the energy secretary, is expected to join him, according to another person with knowledge of the visit, as the Trump administration increases its focus on Arctic security and the Western Hemisphere.

distraction trip. So...what is happening or will be happening here while trip occurs?
How are we supposed to know? Go ask Usha or "National Security Advisor" Michael Waltz, although I guess Waltz is in trouble now for making war plans with Hegseth on a non-secure commercial platform.
Waltz’s f*up is all the more reason that Denmark and Greenland should halt this trip full stop. They are a clear National Security threat in an ever expanding number of ways.
Well the felon is further inflaming tensions by saying the US was invited, and Greenland saying it’s false. They’ve also planned protests where Usha will be. Honestly, she’s crazy at this point. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/03/24/greenland-trump-00246587
Why would she go on an official visit where she is so clearly not welcome? And why would she insist on taking her child with her? Read the room, lady.
+1 I don’t question her actions as a politician’s wife, but absolutely as a mom.
If she cared about her children she wouldn’t have bred with an effeminate, ignorant piece of traitor trash with addict genetics. Those poor kids are going to have to live their lives in seclusion.
She kind of had to? Usha is smart. Big whoop. So was every other girl in her classes at Yale. She is socially awkward and plain. She likely knew she would not have a ton of marriage offers from gentleman callers. People are welcome to debate this, I suppose, but if she was a hot commodity on the dating market, she wouldn't have locked it down with some white trash dough boy when she was 25 and run off to Ohio with him. (After much complaining about Ohio, per JD's own op-ed about it. That's right, the people's princess deemed herself too good for Cincinnati!) JD was smart to lock her down. Best he was ever gonna do. I doubt many girls from his class were eager to marry some guy whose mother was a drug addict and blamed everyone but herself for her drug addiction.
She doesn't seem all that smart and confident if she can't handle this trip by herself and doughboy has to come along. Does she even want him there or did he spoil our plans to get away for a little while? This is just going from bad to worse.
I can't stand the woman, but she definitely is smart. But I agree with you on the confidence or lack thereof. I guess that was what I meant by socially awkward. Every time I see a photo of her she comes across like an anxious teenage girl. If she isn't gazing adoringly at JD in a way that is so fake it makes me think she googled "How to look like you love your husband", she is off in a corner playing with her hair. Even her voice is constantly shaky and she speaks in such a way that sentences sound more like questions. Normally I wouldn't care but for someone whose whole shtick is that she's smart and accomplished, she doesn't come across that way. She wants us to think she's this accomplished, modern woman, but the second people didn't fall all over their feet to say how great she was, she scuttled behind her husband. She comes across as someone who cannot function unless she's being praised.
I went on her IG to find her statement, snd her personal one is very weird. Not what I would call smart, but maybe modern because she is obsessed with posting AI pictures of herself with no comment. I guess she’s letting the AI do the talking for her. If I saw it without knowing who she was I wouldn’t say articulate, confident SLOTUS.
is it her official IG? Because for whatever reason she has a lot of "fan accounts" (probably run by bots) that post heavily photoshopped pics of her.
Maybe not then. Thanks Meta!
