I think anyone who thinks fed cuts and the impetus behind what Trump is doing won’t potentially have an effect on them too is delusional. That does not mean I think everyone is at imminent risk of job loss but if you think this starts and stops at a few hundred thousand feds, you’re being blindly confident. I think it’s very plausible the man tanks the economy to the degree a lot of people who felt themselves impervious will be stunned to realize they weren’t.  [/quote]

I agree it will do some damage to the economy as a whole but it’s very unlikely to impact our jobs. Yes it could harm our investment accounts but those are long term - we can ride out a recession without making withdrawals. We also keep 2 years of cash in no-penalty CDs. [/quote]
