Seriously, these agreements are done and pushed so that US would continue to protect Europe and spend on the military while they are spending money on free education, social welfare, etc. Americans are also going in debt to protect Europe. End it now. [/quote]

It is never as simple as you simpletons make it out to be. NATO is a force multiplier for the US, we are fully integrated with them, we have a big say in how things are done, we have forward bases(and equipment) in Europe(and around the world), Europe buy US equipment and weapon systems, the European intelligence is vital to the US, Europe is a true allies, etc. Losing Turkeys and Italian airbase will leave the Israelis out on their own. Look for a major European shift away from the US’s pet Israel.

When Russia invades the Baltic state Europe will go to war. The US will lose all credibility, trade will be impacted and the US will have no say European affairs. The European will move closer to China and put their interest before the US interest. Though it does not look like Europe will abandoned the Ukraine. The US can switch side but the European will not.

All this for a basket case of a country Russia with a GDP of 7% of the US. Trump is a fool. Russia is on its way to collapsing. [/quote]
